I was comissioned by Mizna Journal, a literary journal of prose, poetry, and art exploring Arab America, to create a comic for their Comix: A New World Order issue.
This was at the time of the pandemic, where I was isolated along with my cat Mika. The uncertainty and anxieties of this time made me question if this covid era is permanent. And so, I imagined a dystopian world in the year 2030 when covid is still very much, an everyday reality.
